What do we do in the Region?

The Regional Committee consists of representatives from every Police Branch In the North West. In addition there are two Service Group Executive (SGE) members on the Committee, along with representatives from the self-organised groups.

We have a full schedule of meetings throughout the year, discussing issues which have an affect on police staff throughout the Region. It’s from this Committee that issues are sent to the SGE by way of Regional references for consideration.

The Committee is  very active committee and seen as one of the most proactive Committees within the Service Group. This is no talking shop, we action strategies, organise , recruit and bargain collectively across all five Police Branches seeking to ensure consistencies wherever possible in the interests of all UNISON members.

It will also be from this Committee that updates and news will be entered on this web site.
